Need to test your design? Try BrowserShot!

Hi everyone!
It happens to all of us: during webdevelopment, we need to test our designs against many web browsers to make sure that our site will render properly on them once it’s on production enviroment. That is a time-consuming, painful task, isn’t it? I wish there was a way to make that process easier… wait, there is a way :D!
BrowserShot has born to make our webmaster life simpler! Take a rest while they do your job. This is how it works:
- You submit your site’s URL to BrowserShot,
- They test it against several web browsers and make screenshots of your site,
- You get the screenshots
Quite simple, huh? And the best part is that this is a free service! They won’t charge you for anything, no hidden fees, nothing!
Try it out!

It’s cool to have a free service like this..
But when I went on there, I find it’s a template seller or reviewer..something like this?
I’m sure it would be more useful if you could include a direct link to this “feature” of that site where we can test and also how this system works..

Hate and laggy but great idea - why didnt i think of tht
@Sabeur: I told someone, a very good friend of mine, that every single good idea was already taken by someone else. However, everytime I find sites/services like this one I feel like there’s still room for imagination and creativity on the business area so I can say now that maybe I was wrong
Browsershots is such a excellent site !
I prefer this site for two reasons. One is for checking how a blog looks in different browsers and to generate full screen picture of a blog !
I also wrote a post regarding it in my blog !
It’s a really great service, isn’t it?
However, I still like it the old fashioned way: I check my sites using IE6, IE7 and FF. If it works properly on them all, then the site goes live!
I’m having some problem with my logo ! I checked it in IE 8 ! Got to repair it !
